Protection dog trainer Jeremy Sebree specializes in “off breeds” in protection and sport dog training. While the majority of dogs in competitive and paid protection dog training are Belgian Malinois, Dutch Sheherds, and German Shepherds, Jeremy has uniquely trained, titled, and worked off breeds such as Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, Dobermans, and even a French Bulldog!

Most bite sports trainers are only competitive in 1 specific bite sport. Jeremy, on the other hand, is competitive in American Schutzhund, Protection Sports Association (PSA), American Patrol and Protection Dogs Association (APPDA), French Ring, Mondioring, multiple US police K9 departments, AND he has been the Iron Will Champ for 3 years in a row!

Jeremy Sebree has been professionally training the Chicago and St. Louis police K9s for over 20 years. He is a certified decoy in APPDA (American Patrol and Protection Dogs Association) and PPDA (Personal Protection Dogs Association) and a titled handler in Schutzhund, PSA, and APPDA. He offers obedience and behavior modification in St. Louis as the owner of Pawfect K9.

- Scenario based training —> Jeremy uses scenarios to train dogs and their handlers for real world personal protection needs. His seminars and training sessions are always exciting because you never know when Jeremy says… “Now I will attempt to kidnap you off the sidewalk, and your dog has to jump through your car window to stop me.” Jeremy even offers the service of pre-planned home invasion tests to ensure your dogs respond in the real situation.
- Competitive obedience —> Each of Jeremy Sebree’s protection dog training titles required him to pass multiple advanced off leash obedience tests, at a competitive level.
- Controlled aggression —> Protection dog training isn’t very useful if your dog becomes anutomatically aggressive and unpredictable. Jeremy is the master of building just as much control as power into his training. His own dogs are as social and friendly with Jeremy-approved people as the next Golden Retriever!
- Drive building —> Many protection dog trainers do not work with dogs that aren’t genetically gifted with high drive. Jeremy holds a unique skill set in building drive in defensive dogs, never relying solely on prey drive.
- Protection puppy training —> He has been called the “puppy master” more than once. Introducing protection training to puppies is a special art. It’s an art that Jeremy Sebree has mastered.
