We’ll always keep a room open for your dog in a Traction trainer’s home, just in case you go out of town. There is an additional nightly cost for boarding, but this membership is required so we can keep your dog’s records up to date and availability open.

private sessions
These are private, in-home training sessions that are individualized to your training goals. You’ll typically first discuss a training concept, then watch as your trainer demonstrates the concept with your dog and customizes learning exercises. Your trainer will then coach you as you practice the exercise with your dog yourself. Homework will be assigned for you and your dog until the next session. Additional a la carte sessions can always be added if needed.

overnight boarding program
Approved dogs stay overnight in a trainer’s home as part of the family. In a home environment with a familiar person, your training can progress while you’re away instead of regressing with a petsitter or in a boarding facility. Dogs must be crate trained and potty trained before participating in the boarding program. $89.90 per night.
* Instead of leaving your dog in a facility where the staff is always different and training gets off track, let them stay in their trainer’s home where they’re comfortable, safe, and can continue their training.
*Enjoy the peace of mind knowing we’ll always keep a room open for your dog. If we ever can’t accommodate the dates you need, we’ll help make similar arrangements for your dog and we’ll credit your account with a future night of boarding on us.

We’ll help create a custom training plan for your dog, and we’ll set up an account for you in our online portal and app. Once in the online portal or app, you’ll be able to see your trainer’s availability and easily schedule your training sessions.
In your initial phone consultation with a trainer, we’ll help determine which membership makes the most sense for your and your dog based on your specific training goals and timeline.
Most people start with Varsity +2 or Varsity +4 and downgrade to Varsity Basic after 2-4 months.
Eventually, you may downgrade again to Varsity Access.
Yes! You can pause, change, or cancel your Varsity membership at any time in our online portal.
You can still meet us for training sessions inside the service area, or we can travel to your home with an out-of-service-area fee added.
Our Boulder service area includes any address within a 15 minute commute of 5170 Table Mesa Dr, Boulder, CO 80303, or you can meet us in Boulder or Wheat Ridge. Our Austin service area includes any address within a 20 minute commute of 6203 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78731. Schedule a phone consultation to get an exact out-of-service-area quote.
Training can be done anywhere inside our service area (Boulder, Colorado or Austin, Texas). Alternatively, you can meet your trainer anywhere in Boulder, Wheat Ridge, or Austin at a public venue or the trainer’s home.
