Dalton is most passionate about training dogs in public access skills and building environmental exposure for service dogs and “go-anywhere” dogs. When a dog can handle any environment, the world opens up to them!

Dalton has personally wrestled dozens of sharks and sea lions during his time commercial fishing in Alaska.

- Working dogs —> Dalton is the ultimate dog sports enthusiast. Not only does he serve as a decoy (the guy in the suit!) for our protection training team, but he has a variety of dogs small and large who actively compete in various dog sports, from barn hunt to French Ring!
- Safety in training —> Dalton famously has never met a dog that scared him. This is, in part, because he also takes pride in being as safe as possible at all times. His proof for his love of safety is 6 years as a commercial fisherman without the loss of any fingers… unlike all of his coworkers!
- Earning the trust of nervous dogs —> After working at 6 different dog boarding facilities over his career, Dalton earned a reputation for being the fastest to earn the trust of nervous and fearful dogs. He has endless patience and compassion for our sensitive pups. His training has helped many dogs get over their fear of men!
