All dates on the 2026 protection dog training schedule are on a Saturday and Sunday.

Itinerary
Each set of training dates will follow this itinerary:
- Arrive at 8:30am
- Begin at 9am
- End at approximately 5pm
- Dinner and drinks Saturday night (restaurant TBD)
Location
Training takes place outdoors in a shaded area of Traction K9 Kennels, located at:
117 Del Rey Ct, Del Valle, TX 78617
Fees
The group will split the cost of this training as a protection training club.
- $75 | Evaluation
- $165 | Single Day
- $325 | Full Weekend
- Discounted for puppies and additional dogs
RSVP
RSVP is required for all protection training dates. Submit the protection training form at tractiondtc.com/protection-dog-training to be included on invites, updates, and RSVP forms. Availability is limited; priority is given to those who are committed to consistent monthly training.
Additional Details
WHAT TO BRING
Lawn chair
Agitation collar or harness
Strong basic leash (no bungee)
Your dog’s crate (see below)
Either bring a lunch, or add to our group delivery order.
‼️ CARS / CRATES
Plan to either keep your dog in the car while it is running, bring your dog’s crate to put indoors in the AC, or have a way to keep your dog cool and secure in the car.
‼️ SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Keep your dog leashed at all times
Do not let your dog approach people or other dogs at any point
Close all gates and doors behind you
CHECK IN
Upon arrival, please find Mara to check in and add your dog to the board.
