Help find Vincent a Home!

Vincent is our beloved foster fail—1.5 years old, handsome as ever, and convinced he’s part athlete, part marshmallow. We absolutely adore him, which is exactly why we’re looking for a home that might be an even better fit for his big personality and bigger zoomies.

Vincent is our beloved foster fail—1.5 years old, handsome as ever, and convinced he’s part athlete, part marshmallow. We absolutely adore him, which is exactly why we’re looking for a home that might be an even better fit for his big personality and bigger zoomies.

Why We’re Looking for a Better Match

We currently live in a house with a small-ish backyard and neighbors nearby, which isn’t ideal for Vincent because he’s fence-reactive (aka: “Excuse me, sir, why are you walking past my fence?”).
With a newborn in the house, it’s tough to supervise his outdoor time as closely as he needs. Vincent lives for being outside—running full speed, ears flapping, living his best action-hero life. Give this boy a large, fenced-in yard, and he will thrive.

A World-Class Athlete… Who Also Loves Snuggles

Vincent is fast. Like, “are we sure he’s not training for the dog Olympics?” fast.
But after he gets his energy out? He becomes a cuddle puddle of love. He will curl up with you like he’s half his size and melt into your arms. A true himbo with a heart of gold.

Great With Other Dogs (and Especially His Sassy Pom Sister)

Vincent is wonderful with other non-aggressive dogs. He currently lives with a sassy little Pomeranian sister, and he is gentle, playful, and respectful with her. He adapts well to canine friends who have good manners and a friendly attitude.

Sweet With Babies & Kids

Despite his big zoomies, Vincent is a total gentleman with little ones. He’s been so sweet and gentle with our baby.

Location: Currently crashing with roommates (human + tiny Pom sister)
Status: Foster fail… but open to the right long-term relationship

About Me

Hi, I’m Vincent — part track star, part oversized teddy bear. My hobbies include sprinting like I’m late for a flight, sunbathing dramatically, and turning into a weighted blanket the moment I’m tired. I’m basically the full package: athlete by day, snuggle bug by night.

Looking For

A responsible, dog-savvy human with a large, fenced-in backyard where I can practice my moves (Olympic scouts, take note). Bonus points if you enjoy to tug, structured routines, and appreciate a man who can’t resist peanut butter.

My Green Flags

Great with other friendly dogs — especially those with good manners

Surprisingly gentle with babies & kids (I know, I contain multitudes)

E-collar trained + professionally schooled (yes, I’m educated !)

Crate trained — I appreciate having my own bachelor pad

Food motivated (peanut butter > literally everything)

My “Work in Progress” Traits (aka: don’t judge me)

I get nervous when strangers — especially men — barge in unannounced.
(Like… who raised you? Knock, my dude.)

I can be fence-reactive because I take my job as Neighborhood Supervisor VERY seriously.

I need slow introductions and a human who respects my feelings. Once I warm up, I’m a certified love bug.

Perfect First Date

You toss a ball. I run at the speed of light.
You offer peanut butter. I propose marriage.
We watch the sunset while I lay across your entire lap

Education

Vincent has completed extensive training programs with me and is fully on and off leash trained. He knows:

Sit / stay
Down / stay
Heel on and off leash
Come when called on and off leash
Place on any object pointed at, can be held for 2+ hours
Stay on place while guests are at the door
He’s muzzle trained, crate trained, potty trained

  • Has been trained as a “go anywhere dog” and has made dozens and dozens of trips to farmers markets, restaurant patios, events, friends’ houses, and more. *

He’s met hundreds of new people and loves virtually all people and dogs. However, he has an instinct to react to strangers entering a front door. He is muzzled when new people are entering a space, but is fully under control with ease.
